7 PM, Ridged heddle weaving and spindle spinning

4 PM, Fiber prep and spinning

All day - "Sheep to Shawl"  the whole process - making a shawl from fiber prep - carding, spinning, and weaving to a woven shawl.

About the demonstration
The High Canyon Weavers and Spinners are weavers and spinners of varied skills from our mountain and basin communities. We meet the second Monday of every month in Cloudcroft. Our mission is to share information, learn and enhance skills and promote the fiber arts.

Individuals in their group will be there to demonstrate their skills on their equipment during the demonstration times, and will be present also to answer any questions.

There will be samples of finished projects of what they are demonstrating along with hands on exhibits of fiber, and weaving. On Saturday every part of the process will be done at the same time and will result in a woven shawl.

Coyote Country Street Dance
Brought to you by WP Broadcasting's Coyote Country 92.7 KRSY-FM"
Hosted by their Morning Show Host, Charles Winiecki

The Street Dance is on the patio behind the Wade Building Friday and Saturday Nights of the Fair.

The Street Dance starts as soon as the Rodeo is over which is normally about 10 pm.

About the Dance
Charles has a play list of good country dance music and takes requests throughout the night.

He not only plays songs for the kids to dance to, but does different contests for prizes from their dance sponsors including Dollar Boots and Jeans, First National Bank and Vision Ford.

It's been a huge success over the years (since 2000) giving the kids a little wind down time to end the evenings.
